SHORT-TERM SCHOLAR PROGRAM

This is a short-term U.S. visit to lecture, observe, consult and train or to demonstrate special skills at research institutions, museums, libraries, post-secondary educational institutions. Participants could be Professors, Post-Doc, Pre-Doc, Graduate Students/Similar (Doctors, Attorneys etc.)

PROFESSOR & RESEARCH SCHOLAR PROGRAM

This is a temporary, non-tenure track appointments. Participants must have minimum of Bachelors’ Degree with appropriate experience in the field in which research is to be conducted. Must have been outside the U.S.A for at least 12 months prior to program start date, unless excluded according to other regulations like 22CFR 66.20(d)(2)(i-iii).

ALIEN PHYSICIANS

Medical Doctors who have passed a qualifying examination (i.e. National Board of Medical Examiners) who has documented NEED in his or her home country for the skills sought while in the USA; can come to the United States to pursue graduate medical education or training at accredited Schools of Medicine or Scientific Institutions.
